What is Osk.exe?

Osk stands for On-Screen Keyboard or Accessibility On-Screen Keyboard. The file osk.exe is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32.   1. Click on the Start menu and the select the Run tab
  2. Type in the following command: %SystemRoot%\system32\osk.exe
  3. The on-screen keyboard will appear.

  1. Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Accessibility > On-Screen Keyboard (in XP)
  2. Or Windows Logo > Accessories > Accessibility > Ergonomic options > On-Screen Keyboard (in Vista, Win7 and Win 8)
