McDonald Auto Back-Lot Break-ins
McDonald Automotive, a large, multi-brand car dealer on South Broadway in Littleton, was plagued by thieves regularly breaking into cars on their back lots during non-business hours. The vehicle crimes were causing significant losses of valuable car parts and were disrupting daily operations and customer service.
Security Central had protected the McDonald Automotive buildings for years, so the McDonald management turned to Security Central for help. Security Central designed and installed an active, video- monitoring system for the vehicle parking areas.
The video alarm system detects intruders, transmits video of the incident to our 24-hour Quick-C.A.R.E. center, and enables our Quick-C.A.R.E. Responders to communicate audible warnings over the P.A. system to thwart potential crimes. The system put an immediate stop to further vehicle break-ins and losses. Now the McDonald management can focus on serving their customers instead filling out police reports.
Lone Tree Attempted Kidnapping
April 20th seemed like a carefree spring day as the two 11-year-old girls rode their bikes together through their gated community in Lone Tree. However, their fun quickly turned to terror as two men in a white van pulled up next to the girls and grabbed one of them. The girls screamed and were able to get away from the grasp of the man in the passenger seat as the van sped away.
The girls frantically rode home and reported the incident to their parents and the Lone Tree Police. The police contacted Security Central right away, knowing that Security Central manages the video surveillance system at the entrances to the gated community.
